Eternity

Finally an Eternal Family!

As I sit here and think about the many blessings that we have experienced in the last month it is almost overwhelming! I get teary just thinking about everything that has happened. We have recently had the blessing to go to the temple and be sealed as a family. What an amazing experience to know that we will be together forever. I feel blessed that my husband chose me to be his wife, and how lucky I am to have him. My kids were amazing and seeing them dressed in white made me realize what angels they really are. I am so glad they are mine.

If you notice, I look like one of those jumbo marshmallows. I didn't realize how huge I was until I looked at these pictures! My goal the whole time was to be sealed before our newest addition arrived. We made it...with 2 wks to spare!

We were surrounded by loving family and friends. We had lots of people leave after the sealing, but here are some the amazing people who made our day special. Also a special thanks to my Mom, Dad, Jessica, and Josh for helping/doing the lucheon for me. It was much appreciated. Also a thanks to Jared and Becca for taking pictures for us.

Found!!

Welcome to Arizona!!
My parents invited Kason with them to Arizona this year and he would not go without his Momma so the night before they were leaving I decided we go with them! I am pretty sure it was the longest drive of my life! My 4 year old did better than this pregnant lady. We had multiple stops along the way so my swollen feet could move a little, but after 16 hours of driving we arrived here...
This is my parents trailer and my dad's part-time winter home. I am not quite sure how he can spend so much time in the desert in the middle of nowhere, but he loves it.

I was told that because we were flying home that I couldn't pack a ton of clothes, but not to worry because they have a washer! I know it looks way too high-tec for its surroundings! Don't worry if you don't see the dryer, it is the clothes lines next to the washer!

My mom has some random decorations in her "yard" like a frog and some lizards, and when you turn Kason loose this is what happens. He moved the frog and then the next day he moved the lizard...to the frogs mouth. I thought it was pretty funny.

They have lots of lizards around the area so when we went to Wal-mart to get groceries we found some things for Kason. He was so excited to be able to go hunting something. Grandpa and him soon found a lizard. Kason wasn't quick enough with the net so Grandpa picked it up and put it in the net. Then the lizard wouldn't get out of the net so Kason picked it up and put in his cage. He took pretty good care of it. He put sand and bushes in there with him and it survived the night. The next day Kason was running when he tripped and the lid popped off and the lizard took his chance to run. My mom and I thought he fell in a cactus the way he was screaming. Nope, just runaway lizard. It got too cold after that to find anymore.

On one of the two nice days we had we went on a rzr/4-wheeler ride up to some caves. Kason loved every minute of it. In fact the baby did too. He moved and kicked the whole time we were riding.
My parents spoiled me and I didn't have to cook or do the whole week! I can officially say that I am a "Sally". I cried the 1st couple days cause I missed Tyson and Logan so much. In the end we had a great time, Logan had a great time with his Dad and we all survived!

Lost

Hmmm, I was going to update my blog with the last adventure Kason and I had...Arizona, but I can't seem to find my camera. I can find the bag and all of the accesories so I am assuming Kason has used it and hid it from me. Maybe later I will find it.

Christmas...Finally!

December is always so busy that I am almost relieved it is over! We had a great Christmas, but kept it slightly low key since I am now pregnant and lazy! I usually make lots of Holiday goodies, but this year we only did white cholocate dipped pretzels. The boys love helping (I don't love the help as much!) and seemed to do pretty well. After washing their hands about twelve times each, because every time they got a little chocolate on them they licked them, they got the hang of it! Not the prettiest pretzels we have seen, but definately delicious!

Santa came to visit us even though I am sure both Logan and Kason had their names on the naughty list more than once! Logan is getting older so he is starting to ask for more expensive items...ipod touch. Since we explained to him that Santa has to buy for lots of kids he downsized it to a list of only two items. He asked for a guitar and bow and arrows. Kason just wanted the bow and arrows, but somehow recieved a little drum set also. They loved it!

Logan actually said "Yes, I knew I was being good cause Santa brought me everything I asked for!" Melted my heart!

Flashlights seem to be Kason's favorite thing! He packs them everywhere and unfortunately drops them often and breaks them. He luckily got another one in his stocking!

We had an amazing Christmas and are so very blessed to have such a wonderful family!

So Busy!

We have been so busy these last couple months that I have been terrible at updating my blog so here we go!!

First and foremost we had Kason's birthday!

If any of you have ever heard me talk about Kason it usually probably isn't the best. I often tease that he is horrible and has been referred to as Satan's Spawn more than once! But, no matter how rotten he can be he is still so stinkin cute! He is full of spunk, always has something to say (good or bad) and is very loving! He has a way of being naughty one second and then telling how much he loves you the next! We love him so much and are so blessed to have him in our life!

We let him choose where he wanted his birthday party and he again chose Heise. We love going up there and eating pizza and then sitting in the hot tubs!
It was nice to have family with us and he loved all of his gifts!

Also, my oldest baby is no longer a baby! Logan lost his first tooth!!

It had been loose for about a month, but he didn't wiggle it enough so it never fell out on its own. I was looking at it one night and noticed that the other tooth was coming up behind it so I said it had to be done. Tyson tried to pull it first and ended up hurting him so he came to me crying. At that point my Dad said that if he pulled it out he would take him bowling. So of course I had to pull it, and did so without tears!! The Tooth Fairy came and Grandpa took them bowling! They loved it!

Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween this year, it seemed to last all week long! We carved pumpkins again this year, eventhough last year they were smashed in front of our house. The kids loved it and they were a little more hands on this year. And this year, the carved pumpkins were stolen, but not smashed (at least in our driveway). The kids were a little sad, but we told them they were the best ones on the block because no one else had theirs taken. That made them happy! I am kind of forgetful and forgot to take a picture of the finished product, sorry!

Our first night of getting in costumes was to go to Boo at the Zoo on Thursday night. It was a lot of fun and the kids liked seeing the animals that were out. The ones that haven't left for the winter seem to be a little more active and the kids love to watch them in action. Friday night we went to the Ucon Carnival. The kids love going and playing all of the games, and of coarse it goes to a good cause! And then Saturday night was the night we celebrated with trick-or-treating. The city did a trunk-or-treat and of coarse we went, but I wasn't impressed and hope that it doesn't happen again next year. I see nothing wrong with getting out with your kids and walking off some of that junk that they are about to eat! Logan was a dirt-biker and Kason was a bat. Tyson was not impressed with Kason's outfit because it had purple on it so we improvised with some hair color and face paint! They loved it!

So Much Summer

Wow!! I can't believe that summer is almost over! I feel like it just started. I am not ready for school to start or for the weather to get colder. I am enjoying playing with the boys and getting some sun!
This summer has been a good one. My favorite part has been that I cut my working hours to 1 day a week. I have loved being home with my boys. We have many tears on both of our parts, but well worth it!

We started off the summer with t-ball. Logan played on a team and loved it. It was pretty easy-going so he got to learn a lot without worrying about doing good. My favorite part of him playing was when he was last to bat and got to run home. He told me later that afternoon that he is awesome cause he hit a home run!!

Kason learned how to ride his bike without his training wheels! Tyson thought he would take them off and see how he did. Well this is about 5 minutes after he removed them. He did really well. We have had multiple crashes, bruises, scratches, blood, and hurt feelings but he is so happy he is a "Big Boy". The only problems was his balance was so great so he had to ride right down the middle of the road as to not hit any parked cars. Now we can't keep him on the sidewalk. I think we will have to attach a flag to his bike and put flashing lights on him! (And yes, he is riding in shorts and cowboy boots!!)

Logan turned 6 in July! I can't believe I am old enough to have a 6 year old. He is such a great boy. I am so proud of him and they we treats other people. He is kind and loves everyone. I often have to look at him for guidance with my patience. I will overhear him with Kason and he takes such good care of him and knows just how to make him feel better. He is wonderful son and an amazing brother!

For his birthday we had a barbecue at our house and he got lots of great things. I am not real sure who gave him what cause everytime I turned around he was opening a present. He loves his dirtbike so he now has the full outfit. Boots, pants, jersey, helmet, gloves, goggles, and chest protector. I think he is good to go..if only he would learn how to shift!

This summer we went to down to Utah and made a stop at Lagoon and also Cherry Hill. The kids had so much fun. Oh how I wish I had their energy!

This is the first year that we put the kids in swimming lessons. I was going to just put Logan in them, but I knew with Kason that there was no way he was going to sit on the sideline! We had them at the Ammon Pool and it was great. They were every day for 2 wks and the kids never got sick of them! Logan did great and learned a lot, he actually passed 2 classes. Kason on the other hand, he just loves to play! He did everything asked of him, except float on his back! Oh well, there is always next year!

Tyson's brother Taylor got married in July to Kylee. So the kids have a new aunt that they love! We are so excited to have her in the family. She is great. Logan was the ring bearer in the wedding and he looked so good! He was pretty impressed with himself!

So much fun! I have loved every minute of it! I am so thankful that I get to spend these precious memories my little ones. Actually, looking back I think I am ready for fall so maybe things can slow down a little bit!
