I apologize now for not making a lot of sense, but I have had a rough week this week at work and I just want to say how grateful I am for my family. I love them so much and am so blessed to have happy, healthy children. We recently lost a patient and my heart aches for his family, as I cannot even comprehend the pain they must be going through and all I can do is cry because it makes me start to think about what I would in a situation like that. It is sad that it usually takes something like this to make me really sit down and think about how I treat my children and how little patience I have had with them in the past and I have to be honest and say that I haven't done so well. I know from working where I work that having a healthy child is a complete miracle and I feel like I have taken that forgranted. I, this week, have started to not yell at my kids so much, but enjoy them, and to realize sometimes it won't kill me to rock my sweet baby to sleep (yes, I know if you were to call me at work I would tell you this is a big "No No") but life is so short. Even if you live until your 100 will that really be enough time to tell the people that you love just how much you love them. I love my children and my husband so much and I don't know what I would ever do without them. I am so thankful for my husband and for working with me so that we to can soon enjoy the the blessing of being sealed in the temple for eternity. He is my bestfriend and I could not imagine my life without him. He is also such an amazing father, and I am so happy that my children have such a wonderful role model in there life. In fact I do get a little mad when Kason wakes up in the morning shouting "Mom, Mom" and then I go in there to get him and he says "I want Dad" Ugh.
I am sorry that this is kinda random, but like I said it has been a rough week and sometimes I just need to let everyone know how much I really do love them.

I am so sorry about your patient. But, you are a GREAT mom, even if you do yell sometimes. I am so happy you guys are working to go the temple. We love You!
Wow, that really made me cry. You ARE a great mom Christi, and by writing that beautiful letter, it's even more evident.
I'm really sorry about your patient. That is hard. I can't even imagine losing a child.
But, you are blessed, and I am glad you realize that. Some people don't. But you do! And you do have 2 amazingly wonderful children, and 1 great hubby. I hope you have a good weekend with them all! And I hope I can learn from your post and not yell at my kids too!
Ya- so thanks for making me teary-eyed! No, I really needed that reminder today. THANKS! It is so obvious the love you have for your two boys, but I'm sure we all feel like we could improve in showing our love better. You are a FABULOUS mom! And just so you know, I was always SO GOOD at training my kids into good habits. Well, no more! I rock Mason all the time and even let him sleep with me sometimes when he's extra sad. I'm learning that life is too short & I'm going to love them all I can.
That was a really sweet letter. I didn't know you had a blog, but now I will be sure to check it! Fun to see pictures of your cute boys.
Thanks Christi for the reminder, sometimes I get a little short with my boys and it is a miracle to have healthy children but sometimes easy to forget. Thanks!
